Testimonials

Mr. Tyson and I have engaged in several intellectual conversations together relating to training and nutrition. From these conversations, his wealth of knowledge as well as his professionalism has come very apparent. I feel confident that in instances where I need a secondary opinion or advice, that Mr. Tyson can help provide more than adequate advice and direction. I value our professional relationship and see him as a valuable asset in my intellectual network.

I asked Mr. Tyson for some advice on my Crossfit training. He instead showed me simple calisthenics. I made some gains since. I quit Crossfit just as they invited me to their new gym, Ultimate Crossfit in Jonestown, Guyana. I’m very glad I changed my routine as prescribed by Mr Tyson after seeing what happened in Guyana. Good advice, sir.

Tyson has decades of experience and is dedicated to his profession. His quality services are not free, and I recommend them to anyone in need of a personal trainer or support with health and fitness.

From June 16, 2013 through September/Early October, Tyson’s physical training and nutritional expertise helped be reduce my weight from 116 kg to 92 kg. I ensured proper payment for his services, as his accolades were without question, a strong showing of success. Without the aid of such knowledge and commitment from Tyson, I am not sure where I would be today. In the world of fitness experts, people like him are far and few between. Tyson’s 20 years of experience stands for more than enough justification for his being treated as a professional in the industry.
His time and services should never be without compensation.

Tyson has a lifetime of knowledge, coaching, training, and real-world experience in everything ranging from strength, endurance, and hypertrophy work, to competition athletic performance, to mixed martial arts, to cutting edge dietary principles and strategies. He knows the physiology, the anatomy, the methods, and the tricks. He can help kids, he can help professional athletes. Highly recommended if you want to improve yourself, your appearance, your health, your performance.
Tyson and I have had fitness-related discussions on several occasions and, despite the distance, I always feel as though he’s right down the road. Through our talks, I’ve seen a great depth and breadth of understanding of applied exercise as well as perspective that only comes from many years of experience. Tyson’s dedication to the success and health of his clients, thirst for knowledge, and respect for his profession (including his colleagues *and* the scope of his practice) have shown him to be a passionate and responsible fitness professional of the highest order. Our industry would do well to develop many more professionals with Tyson’s level of dedication. I’m proud to call him a friend and colleague.

I have known Tyson since the late 80’s. He has always strived to be educated and knowledgable about martial arts, fitness, and training. Having trained with and been trained by Tyson, I know first hand he provides knowledge that both educates and empowers. Being in the education field and martial arts myself for over 20 years, I can vouch for Tyson’s methodology, pedagogy, and approach to both his own education and the education of others.
Tyson would be an excellent addition to any staff, anywhere in the world. His knowledge and commitment to excellence put him at the top of his chosen field.
Please feel free to contact me for further details.

I have worked closely with Tyson in the fitness industry and have witnessed his abilities and professionalism first hand. He displays a profound aptitude and knowledge base in his training and instruction. He takes the time to go out of his way to make sure his students have a clear understanding of what is being taught and his concise methods of teaching have improved his students abilities and helped them grow in their fitness goals. It is clear to me that Tyson is passionate about his profession and this translates in all he does as a trainer/instructor.

Tyson is a professional with over 20 years of education and experience. He deserves to be treated fairly and ethically as a professional. If you expect goodwill you must exhibit goodwill in return.

I’ve had multiple conversations with Tyson about strength, fitness, diet, training, etc. and he’s my go to guy when I have any questions or problems related to my training. Nice guy and very knowledgeable coach. He definitely knows what he is doing. – Cody Sweet codysweet02@hotmail.com
Steve Cotter Ikff I first met Tyson Dewees almost 20 years when we both represented Team USA in the 1996 World Kuoshu Championships in Taiwan. He has not stopped his practice nor his profession and as a highly skilled Martial Artist, he already had the strong foundation in art and science long before he moved deeper into the Fitness Profession. He understands what works, he is attentive and he practices what he preaches. In particular his strong base of not only Asian Martial Arts but also being trained in America which is well established for its innovation in the global fitness movement, Tyson is uniquely qualified to provide education to the fitness professionals in Korea, Thailand and elsewhere in SE Asia where he has immersed himself in that region and those cultures. For me, as the Director of a globally known and respect fitness organization, as well as one of Men’s Health Magazines “100 Fittest Men of All-Time”, the question for me is quite simple when it comes to grading a fitness professional—-with all my years of study and experience, would I let him train me? With Tyson, the answer is yes!

“I’ve known Tysons since 2009 when i met him at a gym in Thailand. He briefly moved to the states where he helped me do strength training, conditioning, and training for full contact fighting. Tyson is a veteran in the industry has continually been keeping up to date on various certification, and techniques for helping people improve in strength and health. I highly recommend Tyson for sports conditioning.”- matt stampe
